AI Contract Overview
The General Services Administration (GSA) is seeking to lease approximately 5,960 to 6,000 usable square feet of office space in Fayetteville, North Carolina, within a specified area bounded by Rowan Street to Grove Street, Cool Spring Street, Russell Street, and Robeson Street to Bragg Boulevard. The lease term is set for 10 years, with the first five years firm and an option for a renewal period between one and five years. The space must include one surface parking space and be fully serviced, meeting all government requirements related to fire safety, accessibility, seismic standards, and sustainability. Additionally, the space cannot be located in a building that houses a daycare, church, school, or collocated with federal law enforcement entities, and it must be outside the 1-percent annual chance floodplain. The offered property may also be subject to a security risk or vulnerability assessment, which can disqualify it if unacceptable. The government currently occupies office space in Fayetteville with a lease expiring soon and is considering alternative spaces if economically beneficial, taking into account relocation costs such as tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure. Responses must include detailed information about the property, including ownership or authorization to represent ownership, a floor plan, parking details, square footage, and rental rates. Interested parties are advised to register with SAM.gov prior to submitting their expressions of interest by March 12, 2026. The anticipated occupancy date for the new space is March 1, 2027. The contract is managed by the GSA’s PBS R3 Office of Leasing, with Jennifer M Kauffmann as the primary contact.
