SPECIAL NOTICE TO SOLE SOURCE: Agency: Internal Revenue Service (IRS) POC: Carlos R. Kinsman | email: carlos.kinsman@irs.gov For: Seven (7) Quadient brand name printers & seven (7) conveyors. The Automated Under Reporter Control Program (AUR) matches taxpayer income and deductions submitted on information returns by third parties (e.g., employers, banks, brokerage firms) against amounts reported by taxpayers on their individual income tax returns to identify discrepancies. The IRS Automated Under Reporter Control Program (AUR) requires a lease for seven (7) Quadient brand name printers & seven (7) conveyors, covered with full warranties, and comprehensive maintenance support for a period of five (5) years. Period of Performance: Base Year, 09/30/2022 09/29/2023 with four (4) Option Periods with the approximate start date of September 30, 2022. Quadient, Inc, is the sole source provider for Quadient brand name printers and conveyors for the Office The Internal Revenue Services (IRS), Enterprise Operations Division (Eops). No solicitation package will be issued. This special notice of intent to sole source is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the Government will consider responses received no later than 4:00 PM, EST on September 04, 2022. Responses shall be submitted to Carlos R. Kinsman at carlos.kinsman@irs.gov. Responses shall include, at a minimum, the following information: 1. The name of your company; 2. Company DUNS No and CAGE Code; 3. Point of Contact, and secondary contact, information; 4. The specific product(s) that your company offers that fulfills the same function as the items to be included on this order or evidence that your company is capable of providing the specific items mentioned above; and, 5. A description of that product(s) and its overall capabilities. It is your responsibility to demonstrate how your product(s) is capable of providing the same functionality that exists with the products mentioned above. The Government will not seek additional information from your company if you fail to provide sufficient evidence of having a product capable of meeting the Government's needs. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government's Contracting Officer. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
