This is a presolicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.3 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is CT2038-11 and this solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-44. The North American Industry Classification System (NAIC) code is 316993. This requirement is unrestricted. Federal Prison Industries, Inc., intends to enter into a firm fixed price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract for delivery to FPI Standstone, 2300 County Road 29, Sandstone, MN 55072. Federal Prison Industries is wanting to procure leather in order to make leather gloves (please refer to solicitation CT2038-11 for details).
