LED Lighting Project #FY2027-Phase 03- Mill Creek Elem

Bulloch County Schools is soliciting proposals for the LED Lighting Project #FY2027-Phase 03 to retrofit or replace existing lighting technologies with modern LED solutions at Mill Creek Elementary School in Statesboro, Georgia. The selected contractor must conduct a mandatory site audit to identify current lighting and provide a comprehensive proposal including specific technical details on proposed LED solutions, an estimated annual energy savings report, and a detailed plan of action to complete the project within a 60-day window. Substantial completion of the work is required within 90 calendar days from the date of commencement. Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes by November 5, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Evaluation is based on a 100-point scale, considering factors such as company data, team personnel, references from institutional projects, and a proven track record of similar work within the last three years. Awarding is at the sole discretion of Bulloch County Schools based on the most advantageous benefit to the district. The contract requires a turn-key, all-inclusive firm cost that incorporates a 10% contingency allowance and covers all materials, labor, insurance, and bonding. Both performance and payment bonds equal to 100 percent of the contract sum are required from a corporate surety authorized in Georgia. Payment terms are net 30 days following final delivery, inspection, and acceptance by a Bulloch County Schools authorized representative.
