Leduc County - Negotiated Request for Proposal - May 2026 Motor Grader Fleet Additions

Leduc County is soliciting proposals for the purchase of three new motor graders to expand its fleet and meet evolving road maintenance demands across Alberta. The County requires units capable of handling dual-season operations, including summer tasks such as gravel road maintenance, dust control, soft spot repair, and shoulder maintenance, as well as winter functions like snow plowing on gravel roads, winging on paved highways, and clearing paved surfaces in Nisku Park and residential subdivisions. Due to increased paved road networks in dense areas, preference is given to heavier units with higher down pressure to effectively remove ice and maintain pavement integrity. All proposed motor graders must comply fully with Alberta’s Vehicle Equipment Regulation and be suited for the operational rigor of county road services. Proposals are due by May 26, 2026, with the solicitation issued under AB-2026-03441, and all submissions will be evaluated under a negotiated RFP process led by Contracting Authority Travis Ratsoy.
