The SCBA compressor and fill station located at the County’s Nisku District North Fire Station is a critical life-safety system used to refill self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) cylinders that supply breathable air to firefighters operating in immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH) environments, including fire suppression, rescue, and hazardous materials incidents. Continuous access to compliant breathing air systems is essential to protect worker safety and maintain operational readiness. The existing SCBA compressor system has reached the end of its serviceable life after approximately 30 years of operation. The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to solicit submissions from qualified proponents for the provision of a complete SCBA compressor and fill station system to restore breathing air refill capability at the Nisku District North Fire Station. The County is seeking proposals for the complete supply, delivery, installation, integration, commissioning, testing, certification, and training associated with a fully operational SCBA compressor and fill station system with an expected operational lifecycle of 20 to 30 years. The Deliverables include all equipment, components, controls, safety systems, accessories, documentation, and services necessary to provide a complete, functional, and compliant breathing air system suitable for emergency service operations.
