This solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in New Delhi, India for the services of a contractor to provide Health Insurance for local employees of the US Embassy. This will release a solicitation on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps ) website when it is available The resultant contract will be a fixed unit price requirements type contract under which will be issued firm fixed price task orders, for a base year with four (04) year options. The estimated number of employees is 1700. Please note that these are only estimated quantities. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov , prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of proposals. The guidelines for registration in SAM are also available at: https://www.statebuy.state.gov/pd/Pages/AdditionalVendorReg.aspx The Government plans to issue the solicitation on or about March 27, 2017.
