AI Contract Overview
The contract pertains to the procurement of five units of a control lever, identified by NSN 1680-01-734-3103, with a delivery timeline of 62 days after order. It incorporates specific technical and quality requirements as outlined in the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Master List, which govern product specifications, packaging, and marking. Sampling and inspection methods follow military standards such as MIL-STD-1916, ensuring rigorous quality verification with specified acceptance quality levels for critical, major, and minor attributes. Notably, the contract waives the requirement for item unique identification and does not impose shelf life restrictions on the material. The contract also addresses export control measures, highlighting that certain technical data related to the item are subject to international regulations like ITAR and EAR. Disclosure or export of this data requires prior authorization from the Department of State or Commerce, with strict limitations on distribution to contractors who must be certified under the US/Canada Joint Certification Program and complete required training and questionnaires. The contracting activity is managed by the Department of Defense, specifically the ASC Supplier Operations AE and AF Division, with performance at the New Cumberland facility. The solicitation is open for response until mid-April 2026, and primary contact is provided for inquiries.
