THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE AND SHOULD NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. THE SUBMISSION OF THIS INFORMATION IS FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. IT IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO PROCURE ANY SUPPLIES OR TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION.
BACKGROUND
The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Walla Walla District is seeking sources for a supply project: Little Goose Lock & Dam Protective Relay Test Set. This project involves the purchase of one new complete Protective Relay Test Set for delivery to Little Goose Lock & Dam in Dayton, WA. This sources-sought announcement is a tool to identify businesses with the capability to accomplish the work. This is not a solicitation. This notice neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. It should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Walla Walla District is issuing this notice to measure the interest and availability of other than large business firms, including HUBZone, 8(a) or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) or other Small Business concerns that are capable of fulfilling the requirement as advertised.
Responses to this sources sought announcement will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is: 334515 – Instrument Manufacturing for Measuring and Testing Electricity and Electrical Signals. The Small Business size standard for this NAICS is 750 employees.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The contractor shall provide one new Protective Relay Test Set including the following:
- Complete Relay Test Set
- Complete Relay Test Set Expansion/Amplifier Module
- Complete Full Edition of Relay Test Set Software
- Accessory Package
- Test Set Training Session
