License Agreement Between the County of San Diego and North County Transit District – Palomar Mountain RCS

The County of San Diego and the North County Transit District have entered into a License Agreement for the use of the Palomar Mountain Communications Facility located at 20814 State Park Road, Palomar Mountain, California. This agreement establishes a new Sheriff's Wireless License that supersedes a previous lease expiring on June 30, 2026. The license grants the use of three interior racks, one omni antenna on a standoff mount on leg 3 at 90 feet, and one panel antenna on a standoff mount on leg 3 at 42 feet. The agreement features a ten-year term beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2036. The project was approved by the County of San Diego General Services on July 20, 2026, and is categorized as categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act under Section 15301 for Existing Facilities, as it involves the continued use of the facility without expansion.
