The County Flood Control District (District) will enter into a License Agreement (Agreement) with the IT Environmental Liquidating Trust (ITELT) (Licensee) to allow access onto District levee property for monitoring and sampling of two existing groundwater monitoring wells; one along Pacheco Creek (MW-112) and the other along Walnut Creek (MW-125). Monitoring will be conducted quarterly for water level measurements and semi-annual groundwater sample collection as required by the Department of Toxic Substance Control (DTSC) and Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB). Water quality monitoring will be conducted using handheld monitoring probes and making visual observations. Access will be by vehicles; no heavy equipment will be used. The Agreement will end upon the recommendation of DTSC or RWQCB upon written agreement with the District and ITELT. No other activities are allowed without prior approval from the District.
