This announcement, dated 19 May 2026, from Naval Air Systems Command, PMA-265 (Program Office for F/A-18 and EA-18G Aircraft), is conducting market research to identify potential sources who have the skills, experience, qualifications, and knowledge required to successfully support  a Life of Type Buy (LOTB) of obsolete electronic components associated with the Reference Standby Display (RSD) and Low Profile Head Up Display (LPHUD) Frequency Equalizer Generation 1 sustainment components for the F/A-18, EA-18G and F-15EX aircraft weapon systems as authorized by the Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) Review Board (DMSRB). This procurement is for IC Accelerometer 10 G 5V MIL LCC20 PBF, P/N 7040-10391-01.


This is NOT a Request for Proposal. Firms that can meet the NAVAIR’s requirement identified above are encouraged to identify themselves by submitting a response to this Sources Sought Notice.


SUBMISSION DETAILS: Interested parties shall submit a brief capabilities statement (no more than 10 pages) demonstrating their ability to perform the services described herein no later than 5:00pm EST 3 June 2026. The Government is interested in receiving vendors’ commercial published price lists for items they believe meet the need in this RFI. The Government is also interested in lead-time and current stock level. All data received in response to this RFI, marked or designated as corporate or proprietary, will be fully protected from release outside the Government. The capability statement packages shall be sent by email (or DoD Safe for larger files) to the Procurement Group Points-of-Contacts below.
