NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Jackson, SC intends to make a sole source award to the Automotive Resources, INC of 12775 Randolph Ridge LN Manassas, VA 20109-2673 for the Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) Maintenance Division located at Fort Jackson, SC. The proposed contract action is for attachments and accessories for an ARI-Hetra 4 Post 72,000 lbs. capacity battery Mobile Lift System (model # HBP-HDML-10-4-AE) previously procured under awarded contract W9124C-13-F-0009. The action will also include an additional Mobile Lift Systems. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) Soliciting from a single source authorized by FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1). For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposal based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The attachment accessories include: 1ea FL3-4 Forklift Adapter W/2 Center Ramps and Cart (15 pcs), 1ea FRLT-15, Front and Rear Light Truck Adaptor and Cart (15 pcs), 1ea WS-12102, Two-Step Air/Hydraulic Jack, 220, 000 lb. capacity, 1ea WS-12101, Single-Step Air/Hydraulic Jack, 220,000 LBS. capacity, 1ea TR-10-108, Chassis Cross Beam and Support with Hold Adjustments, Mobile Lifting Jacks/Adaptors.
