The City of Darien, hereinafter referred to as ¿Owner¿, is currently requesting proposals to furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and other appurtenances to replace the existing lift station located below the Darien River Bridge in conjunction with the larger bridge replacement project. The construction of a new lift station, valve vault with odor control measures, installment of 8¿ C900 DR18 force main piping (±293 LF open cut and ±237 LF of directional bore), and rerouting ±300 LF of existing 12¿ gravity sewer main. The project will also include the abandonment and demolition of the existing lift station and necessary components after the new lift station is activated.
