The item is subject to stringent technical and quality requirements as defined in the DLA Master List, including compliance with CMMC Level 2 for both third-party assessment and self-assessment, and adherence to ISO 9001:2015 for higher-level quality management. Physical identification and bare item marking must meet RQ017 specifications, and inspection and acceptance must occur at the manufacturer’s origin per RQ009. Sampling and verification follow MIL-STD-1916 or comparable zero-based plans, with critical, major, and minor attributes assigned specific verification levels or AQLs unless otherwise stipulated.
