LIGHT,TAXIING,AIRCR
Solicitation # N0038326QDA56
This solicitation, issued by NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Philadelphia, is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside for the repair and overhaul of 20 aircraft taxiing light units, part number 72500460-001 (NSN 6220-01-720-6479). The objective is to return these technically sensitive, source-controlled components to a Ready For Issue condition. Due to the critical nature of the items, the government will only consider offers from approved sources, specifically S & K Aerospace, LLC and Source One Spares LLC, unless an alternative manufacturer provides a complete technical data package demonstrating equivalent form, fit, function, and reliability. The contract is a firm-fixed-price requirement where awards are based on the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer. Offerors must provide a single unit price per CLIN and are prohibited from using tiered pricing. Key requirements include adherence to MIL-STD-130 for markings, MIL-STD-2073 for packaging, and the maintenance of a quality management system compliant with ISO 9001 or SAE AS9100. The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, and tooling, with specific prohibitions against the use of MIL-W-81381 wire. Delivery is required within 90 days, and all invoicing must be processed through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) system. Final inspection and acceptance will occur at the contractor's origin.
