AI Contract Overview
Solicitation SPE4A6-26-R-XD75 is a request for quotations from the DLA Aviation ASC Commodities Division for the procurement of marker clearance lights, identified by NSN 6220-01-494-0572. This is a total small business set-aside intended to result in a bilateral Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order (IDPO) with a five-year base period. The contract is valid until the aggregate total of orders reaches a ceiling of 350,000 dollars. The primary requirement involves the consistent delivery of these critical application items to DLA Depots, with a specific line item for 900 units per year, though delivery order quantities may range between 850 and 900 units. Delivery is required within 100 days after receipt of the order, with inspection and acceptance occurring at the destination. The contract mandates strict adherence to technical and quality requirements, including MIL-STD-129 for marking and MIL-STD-2073-1E for packaging, with specific instructions for fragile items and hazardous materials. Quality assurance is governed by zero-based sampling plans and specific verification levels for critical and major attributes. Award decisions will be based on best value, weighing price, past performance, and SPRS assessments. Administrative requirements include the use of the Wide Area WorkFlow system for invoicing and compliance with various FAR and DFARS clauses regarding cybersecurity, the Buy American program, and supply chain traceability. Proposals must be submitted via DIBBS or email to David Bailey by September 21, 2026.
