A total laundry service for institutional linen is required, with no County owned equipment, supplies or facilities utilized. Soiled linen is to be picked up at each home on a daily basis, cleaned, folded, sorted and exchange carts for each unit stocked. Full exchange carts are to be delivered to each home. All components of the service including linen, equipment required for the collection of soiled linen (bags, hampers and exchange carts) is to be provided by the proponent. The County would like to consider using a more environmentally friendly linen hamper/bag system.)The term of this proposal is for three years with an option for two additional years with the approval of both parties. Pricing must be held firm for a minimum of 12 months of the contract.
