This is a Sources Sought Synopsis; there is no solicitation available. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This Sources Sought is published for market research purposes only to assess whether there are businesses capable of providing Liquid Runway Deicer, specifically Cryotech E36 brand Potassium Acetate, and Solid Compound, Anhydrous Sodium Acetate, Runway Deicer as described in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). This product shall be delivered to Wright Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) Ohio. This market research will be used to help determine if this may be a competitive acquisition, or if a set-aside in any small business program is appropriate (Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVO), Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned (EDWO). Please review this announcement, including all attachments, in their entirety.

CAPABILITLIES STATEMENTS: Interested parties shall submit a capabilities package that explicitly demonstrates company capabilities and product/service specifications related to this effort. Responses shall include company name, physical and mailing address, and point of contact with his/her phone number. Prospective sources must also indicate their business size status (e.g. large, small, small disadvantaged, 8(a), women-owned small business) in relation to North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code 325998. Prospective Sources should also include their corresponding Unique Entity ID (UEI) and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Codes. CAGE codes can be obtained by successfully registering in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. Capability statements shall be limited to a maximum of 20 pages and may be sent via email, to the attention of Amanda Cafarella with at subject line that reads “FA8601-27-R-0001, Runway Deicer.” at amanda.cafarella@us.af.mil. Note that email filters at Wright-Patterson are designed to filter e-mails without subject lines or with suspicious subject lines or attachments (i.e., .exe or.zip files).
