HEADQUARTERS (HQ) AIR FORCE SPACE COMMAND (AFSPC) A3/6SF LISTING OF COMMERCIAL COMPANIES, OTHER GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATIONS AND UNIVERSITIES DEVELOPED ASTRODYNAMIC ALGORITHMS TO BE INCORPORATED INTO AFSPCI 60-102 Synopsis: The purpose of this Special Notice posting is to provide a current, updateable list of companies that have astrodynamics software for consideration by the Government for a variety of on-going and future programs. The list will be referenced in Air Force Space Command Instruction (AFSPCI) 60-102, Astrodynamic Interoperability Standards as a possible source for astrodynamic software that the United States Air Force (or other Government) program managers could potentially use as they develop systems that need astrodynamic data processed. The purpose of this instruction is to improve the overall performance of space operations and to facilitate the interoperability of military space assets using 18 Space Control Squadron (18 SPCS) Space Situational Awareness (SSA) products (ELSETS, State Vectors, etc.), while reducing cost. To do this, the instruction establishes astrodynamic interoperability standards for use in HQ AFSPC. AFSPC A3/6S/A5MT has been directed by senior leadership to make maximum use of non-AFSPC astrodynamic software and algorithms. AFSPCI 60-102 is being rewritten to include this direction. Respondees are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this Special Notice. All costs associated with responding to the Special Notice will be solely at the interested party's expense.
