Posting Summary:
Public Works and Government Services Canada has the following requirement: Work of this Contract comprises of the Living Units Door, Power and Lighting Control System upgrade for Buildings 5, 50, 51 and 58 for Corrections Services Canada, located at Springhill Institution, Springhill, NS; and further identified as Project R.116772.001.
Replacement of existing door and control management system in 4 buildings: Building 5, Building 50, Building 51 and Building 58 including: - Removal of existing control and existing monitoring equipment located in each of these buildings. - Install new monitoring workstation in existing Control post. - Install new control and PLC cabinet in each existing communication room for each of the 4 x buildings. - Upgrade existing system to allow the control and monitoring of existing lighting and receptacles load. - Upgrade existing communication to allow remote monitoring in the existing Building 1. - Upgrade the existing MCCP located in building 1 to integrate the new DCMS monitoring for Building 5, Building 50, Building 51 and Building 58. - Commissioning, testing, training and demonstration of the new system.
The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by January 2025.
The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following cost category: between $1,000,001 to $5,000,000 (HST included).
Standard bid and contract security for the construction is required.

TWO PHASE SELECTION PROCESS
This is the first phase (Phase One) of a two-phase process: the first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all interested suppliers; the second phase (Phase Two) will invite the qualified suppliers to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. The qualification list will expire within 60 days or upon award of a contract in Phase Two, whichever is earlier, and the prequalification list will not be used in any other solicitation.
Suppliers must submit qualifications electronically using the Canada Post Corporation’s (CPC) Connect Service application for the subject bid solicitation. Further instruction is provided in the Letter of Interest.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
