Livingston 1,2,3 - TCP Removal Treatment System Project

The State Water Resources Control Board is serving as the Responsible Agency for the Livingston 1, 2, 3 – Trichloropropane Removal Treatment System Project, which is being funded by the Board under internal project number 2410004-004C. The initiative involves building two centralized treatment facilities to remove 1,2,3-Trichloropropane (TCP) from drinking water, one located at Arakelian Park and the other at Well No. 8. At Arakelian Park, the project includes a one million gallon storage tank and a 6,000 gallons per minute booster pump station, while the Well No. 8 site will feature a larger 1.5 million gallon storage tank and a 4,500 gallons per minute booster pump station. Approximately 6,300 feet of new water pipelines will connect these facilities to the existing distribution system to ensure effective treatment and delivery of purified water.
