Full Description

STATEMENT OF WORK: - 1. General: The existing users want to use selected areas for placing storage, load bearing tests to be conducted determine the capacity of storage that can be stored in these areas. - 2. Project Requirements: - 2.1.Provide all material, labor, and equipment necessary to check load bearing by Professional Engineer (PE) structural engineer IAW IBC 2015 or current code, so these areas as shown on Attachment 1 to 4 can be used for storage. - 2.1.1. Professional Engineer (PE) certified in structural shall at least make one site visit. - 2.1.2. PE shall be required to visit site of each area being looked at. - 2.2.Once the loading is determined, the certified stamped letter shall be given to the Government. - 3. Proposed Schedule: - 3.1.Work is expected to take 90 days. - 3.2. A schedule shall be submitted at the time of the pre-service commencement conference for discussion and approval. The schedule shall be in acceptable form of suitable scale and in sufficient detail to indicate the percentage of work scheduled for completion at any given date during the period. - 4. Reports: Stamped certified Structural Professional Engineer letter showing the bearing loads for each location.
