This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation for this requirement. The solicitation number is 1645BC-20-Q-00005, assigned for tracking purposes only, and is issued as a Request for Quotes. No other solicitation will be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2020-03. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 337214 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. MSHA seeks vendors that can provide Double Door Lockers (wardrobe) for the National Mine Academy as described in the specifications. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated for this project. In order to be considered for the award, quotes must be provided for the cabinets specified in the specifications. Cabinets must be available at the time specified. Responses must clearly indicate the delivery date for items to be provided. Award will be made to the lowest price, technically acceptable offeror. In order to be technically acceptable, vendor must provide sufficient details in its quote for the Government to make a determination that the proposed products meet the specifications required. Vendors must complete provision FAR 52.225-2. Any questions are due by February 14, 2020 at 7:00 AM EST. Questions not received by this deadline may not be considered. Answers to all questions will be posted to BetaSam website as soon as possible after this date, but in sufficient time for final quote to be prepared and submitted. Questions must be submitted to Contract Specialist Jennifer McKeever at mckeever.jennifer@dol.gov. NO TELEPHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Offeror must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database before an award can be made to them. If the offeror is not registered in the SAM, it may do so through the SAM website at http://www.sam.gov. Registration is free. Quotes must be submitted in PDF form or MS Word/Excel files to Contract Specialist Jennifer McKeever at mckeever.jennfer@dol.gov by February 19, 2020 at 1:00 PM . The font size should be at least a 10 point. This requirement is contingent on the availability of funds. Funds are not presently available.
