Locution DALI Lighting

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. This is for market survey only; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis and no contract shall be awarded from this synopsis. The U.S. Air Force, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base (SJAFB), has been tasked to identify potential sources, market capabilities and market conditions for the acquisitions of an Addition of 29 NVI LEDs for the Seymour Johnson/Locution System (25 at ST 1, and 4 at ST 2). Note*The existing CAT5e wire runs to the unused PILZ will be utilized for powering the NVIs, and existing DALI Bus Masters at each station will be utilized for the programming of the RXU30-6EMs. Includes Project Coordination, Configuration & Testing of the PCs and Zoned Lighting, and Engineering of Zoned Lighting patch panels and connections to RXU30-6EMs. Includes installation of the CAT5e Patch Panels and RXU30-6EMs, termination of the CAT5e Patch Panels to existing CAT5e runs to each dorm (to previous Dorm Tracker locations), and Configuration and Testing of this system once terminated. Ensuring system is 100% working order before leaving premisis. Interested capable commercial sources are being sought to determine the level of interest to provide this is not a solicitation for the bid, but a solicitation may be issued at a later date. Any resulting solicitation will be posted electronically to this site. The North American Industry Classification System is 541511- Custom Computer Programming Services. No reimbursements will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to the sources sought or any follow-up information request. The purpose of this source sought is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of members of both the Small Business Community, to include Section 8(a), Historically Underutilizes Business Zones (HUBZone), Service Disabled Veterans-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), and Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business's (EDWOSB) to compete for this requirement. All submittals received will be reviewed for informational purposes. The type of solicitation to be issued will depend upon the responses to this sources sought synopsis. The Government must determine and ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of interested, capable commercial companies.
