Full Description

USAID/Afghanistan intends to award a firm fixed price bridge contract for Logistical Support Services to the Host Nation Perspectives Southwest Asia (HNPSWA) on a sole source basis. The bridge contract will allow the storage and redistribution of government property to prevent a gap in services. The bridge contract would ensure that there is no pilferage, damage/destruction on harmful manipulation of government property. However, USAID/Afghanistan intends to conduct a competitive procurement for total small business entities. Please refer to Synopsis No. 306-17-00 at fbo.gov. Period of performance is three months with three option periods. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation package is available. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the procurement in writing to the identified point of contact within 15 days after publication of this synopsis. A determination by the government not to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Verbal and telephonic inquiries will not be accepted.
