The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate a Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract modification, N00178-05-D-4461-4Y04, on a non-competitive basis with MTG Services, Inc. 307 Route 70 Suite 1B, Lakehurst, NJ 08733for the procurement of full logistics and technical support services in the areas of planning, acquisition, analysis, development, training, support equipment management, facilities, and execution for Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division AIR-6.7 as it pertains to performing within defined Integrated Program Teams amongst all NAVAIR program offices. The period of performance on this extension will be eight (8) months. NAWCAD has identified the effort to bridge current logistics support until a competitive contract is awarded in order to avoid a break in service from the current contract. This sole source award is to prevent a gap in services that will occur as a result in a slip of schedule in awarding the follow-on action. A gap in support would significantly reduce resources in multiple areas, including Support Equipment Recommendation Data (SERD) support, Market Research support, Maintenance Planning support, Training Analyses/Development support, Reliability-Centered Maintenance support, SE Statement of Work development support, Supportability Analysis support, Logistics Product Data (LPD) development/update support, along with other logistics-related data/deliverables that fall within the confines of the twelve elements of logistics. THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued under the sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Unless stated herein, no additional information is available. Requests for the same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government.
