The Government plans to solicit and negotiate a contract for low-profile hand pumps specifically designed for integration into the LRU 13A Multi-Place Life Raft (MPLR). This action will be conducted under a sole-source authority, as only Aerial Machine And Tool Corp responded to the prior Request for Information (RFI) with an offer, indicating that no other sources are capable of fulfilling the agency's requirements. The contract is managed by the Naval Air Warfare Center Air Division, part of the Department of Defense, with the place of performance identified as St. James, Maryland. This notice is not a call for competitive proposals but invites any responsible sources to submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations for consideration. Responses should be submitted in writing via email directed to the primary point of contact, Jose Perez, by June 23, 2026. The solicitation is associated with NAICS code 33391, reflecting manufacturing of pumps and related equipment, and falls under the presolicitation phase as of June 9, 2026. The Naval Air Warfare Center emphasizes that this procurement strictly aligns with regulations permitting single-source contracting when only one responsible source is available.
