Full Description

This contract was procured as an 8(a) sole source in accordance with the authority at FAR 6.302-5(4) and the Partnership Agreement between the Small Business Administration and the Department of Defense dated January 7, 2013. The scroll case of Main Unit 4 at the Lower Monumental Dam is leaking excessively inside the powerhouse. The leakage from the scroll case flows over and under the terrazzo floor and onto the inside and outside of the generator pit liner. In addition to the safety concern created by this water flowing around electrical equipment, the leakage is causing significant corrosion of electrical conduits, panel boxes, mechanical equipment, and paint systems in and around the floor and pit liner. This project will stop these leaks by sealing the concrete on the inside of the Unit 4 scroll case.
