The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue RFP N00024-14-R-2414 and award a contract on a sole source basis to Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (San Diego, CA) for planning yard interface and Life Cycle Engineering and Support (LCE&S) services efforts for LPD 17 Class Amphibious Transport Dock Ships electronic systems. The resulting Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract will be awarded on a sole source basis because Raytheon is uniquely qualified as the designer and sole producer of the LPD 17 Class Ships electronic systems.
