LUMBAR PUNCTURE KIT

The contract covers the supply of a Lumbar Puncture Kit, which includes all essential sterile components required for measuring cerebrospinal fluid pressure and aspirating CSF from the subarachnoid space. Each kit is conveniently organized in a multi-compartment tray and contains items such as 20g Titan™ Quincke spinal needles, lidocaine hydrochloride ampule, syringes, gauze pads, drapes, specimen vials, patient ID labels, and associated accessories necessary for the procedure. The kit is designed to meet strict medical standards, ensuring sterility, functionality, and ease of use in clinical settings. Packaging requirements specify commercial-grade materials that protect the contents against damage during shipping, with labeling compliant to Medical Marking Standard No. 1. The kits must have a shelf life of 36 months, with no more than five months elapsed from manufacturing to government delivery. The contract requires proper marking with manufacturer date, expiration or retest date, and lot or contract numbers. Performance details include delivery within 20 days after award, procurement governed by specified technical and quality requirements, and the necessity for suppliers to specify source and part numbers when bidding.
