LUMBAR PUNCTURE KIT

All items are contained within a multi-compartment tray with a prep well, ensuring organized, contamination-free access during use. The kit is intended for adult patients and conforms to strict medical standards for sterility, functionality, and completeness. Each unit must be packaged in a sealed, protective container that prevents damage or breakage during transit and shipped in commercial exterior containers meeting carrier requirements for safe, cost-effective delivery to the designated military address. The product must have a minimum shelf life of 36 months from the date of manufacture, with no more than five months elapsed between manufacturing and government receipt, and expiration dates must be clearly marked per Medical Marking Standard No. 1, superseding MIL-STD-129. Labeling must include manufacturer date, expiration or retest date, contract number, and lot number. The NSN is 6515-01-707-0814, with a unit of issue of case (CS), each containing ten kits.
