The Air Force requires a Firm Fixed Price, contract with four option periods to manufacture the M1187P 12 gage shotgun, which is used on the Remote Ordinance Neutralization System (RONS) Robotic Platform. NOUN: SHOTGUN, 12 GAGE; NSN 1005-01-312-5895; P/N: 11-87; DIM: Barrel Length: 14'' (355mm), 18'' (457mm) or 20'' (508mm), Weight (3.6kg with 18'' barrel); Capacity: 5 (standard) or 7 (with magazine extender) rounds in underbarrel tube magazine. This requirement is for a Quantity of 41 ea, Option I (1-50 ea), Option II (1-50 ea), Option III (1-50 ea), Option IV (1-50 ea). DELIVERY: 150 days ARO. All delivery will be F.O.B Origin; electronic procedure will be used for this RFP. It is anticipated that the RFP will be issued on or around 9 September, 2009, with a response date of on or around 09 October, 2009. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The RFP will be posted at www.fedbizopps.gov.
