This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The The Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Explosive (CBRNE) Directorate requires personnel, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to perform mail and parcel screening operations of all incoming Department of Defense mail and parcels for evidence of suspicious material, security classification violations and overt threat language, with subsequent transfer of custody to the Pentagon and Mark Center Defense Post Office (DPOs), Washington Headquarters Services(WHS) Dockmaster and PFPA authorized couriers. All screening operations will occur at the Pentagon, Washington, DC, and Mark Center, Alexandria, VA.
