This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The United States Property and Fiscal Office, 9 National Guard Road, Columbia, SC intends to award a firm fixed price contract for the South Carolina Army National Guard (SCARNG) for two (2) Scanmax 25 Cabinet X-Ray machines, installation and on-site training. This is a BRAND NAME OR EQUAL buy. If you are not submitting the requested brand name item, then you must demonstrate that your product meets ALL of the salient characteristics of the requested brand name item. SOME of the more critical characteristics are: * fluoroscopic X-Ray cabinet designed for detection of explosive devices, hate mail and other contraband concealed in incoming mail and/or packages. * Must produce clear, definition rich, x-ray images of mail, courier and baggage items to allow operators to quickly distinguish between legitimate and malicious or prohibited items. * Must have a "push-button" start. * Must have monitor display capabilities. * Floor standing scanner with the following measurements: 64" H x 17" W x 24" D. * Images must be both exportable and importable in the following formats: * Windows Bitmap * JPEG * TIFF Image File Format You must provide sufficient information to determine that your product meets the salient characteristics of the brand name item requested. *Delivery will be to two separate locations in the Greater Columbia, SC area* Solicitation W912QG-19-R-0049 is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13.
