Full Description

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) in support of LIR intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competition for a service contract for two (2) gravity steam sterilizers (S/N 53163 & 53100) with Getinge USA, 1777 East Henrietta Rd, Rochester, NY 14623. Getinge USA is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the two (2) gravity steam sterilizers and they are the only qualified source to provide factory certified service, maintenance and parts for this equipment. This is not a request for proposal. All responsible sources who are certified by Getinge USA as an authorized third party repair vendor may submit a proposal showing their capabilities and past performance repairing this type of equipment. The vendors shall provide certification from OEM that they are authorized to perform these services and have access to OEM parts and supplies. All responsible sources may submit a response that will be considered. The Government reserves the right to make a decision whether this requirement is available for competition. All responses shall be submitted no later than Monday, November 24, 2014 to Kemeley Torbert at email address torbertk@niaid.nih.gov.
