The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) intends to negotiate on other than full and open competition the purchase a maintenance contract from Bio Technic Services, LLC, 590 Over Ridge Road, Frederick, MD 21703 (01) 494/494C Procise Sequencer (9409169J) (2) 491CLC Procise Sequencer (100000035) We request the purchase of a service contract for the procise sequencers currently in use. These instruments are used by National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID) Division of Intramural Research (DIR) investigators to carry out experiments requiring single cell interrogation of a large number. Due to the high number of clients reliant on these instruments, they must be maintained to a high performance level, and repaired to this state when they fail. Instruments are predisposed to frequent service needs. The service provider will need to inventory an array of replacement parts and specialized equipment for the specific needs of each instrument. Bio Technic Services is the original equipment manufacturer and does not have any authorized third party services providers. All responsible sources who are certified and authorized by Bio Technic Services may submit a response that will be considered. The Government reserves the right to make a decision whether this requirement is available for competition.
