Notice of Intent to Award to a Sole Source The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of Research Facilities, Office Acquisitions Facilities Support Services Contracting Branch intends to issue on a sole source basis under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302.1 "Only one responsible source" with Square D Company, Inc. NIH requires continued service and maintenance for the Square D PowerLogic equipment to keep the equipment current to the latest firmware and software updates, verifying proper operation, trouble shooting to the device level, and fine tuning the device, communications, and/or equipment to more fully utilize its capabilities; assist NIH with its Utility SCADA Project as needed. The Government anticipates the award of a fixed price award for a base year and four option years for these services. Written responses to this notice will not be honored and a formal solicitation will not be published. Verbal or written request for copies of a solicitation will not be granted.
