Full Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 13.106-1(b) (1). The US Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) Tenant Division, 6565 Surveillance Loop, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-3013; has a requirement to procure the following service: Provided maintenance and repair (M&R) services for the dynamometers and affiliated systems as follows: maintain equipment, provide troubleshooting, application support, and furnish spare replacement parts for both test cells 1 & 2. This contract will provide continued M&R services in support of automotive testing at the Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) Engine and Powertrain Test Facility. The engine dynamometers and affiliated systems were a custom design and installation in cells 1 & 2 within ATC under contracts W91ZLK-05-P-1373 and W91ZLK- 06-P-1211. After commissioning, contract W91ZLK-13-P-0310 provided maintenance and repair (M&R) services for the dynamometers and affiliated systems The intended period of performance for the above mentioned service is subject to date of award and two one year options. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract to: A&D Technology Inc. Duns: 603100483 Cage Code: 45KA8 4622 Runway Blvd Ann Arbor, MI, 48108-9555 All responses received within ten businesses (10) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government to compete the proposed requirement will be based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
