Maintenance and Repair of CV-22

The 96th Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source contract modification to contract #F08651-C-0085, for the Maintenance and Repair of the CV-22 Aircraft in support of the 46th Test Wing Squadron, Eglin AFB, Florida. The period of performance for the transition period will be 18 May 2008 through 17 June 2008. The normal performance period will be 18 June 2008 -17 November 2008, for the Basic Year Period and 18 November 2008 through 17 November 2009. The final Option period will be 18 November 2009- through 17 November 2010. This modification will be issued to DTS Aviation Services Inc, 13500 Heritage Parkway Fort Worth TX 76177. The requirement is for the Contractor to provide CV-22 experienced maintenance production supervision and personnel to execute all Organizational and Intermediate (O&I) maintenance operations in support of CV-22 aircraft flight/ground test operations at Hurlburt Field, Florida or other locations as required. The Contractor shall ensure on-site personnel possess and maintain, at a minimum a Secret Security Clearance. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 488190 with a small business size standard of 6.5 million dollars. The major place of contract performance and maintenance is to be rendered on Hurlburt AFB, Florida. Performance in offsite areas will be required when the 46th TW deems it necessary in support of its missions. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be issued as a result of this synopsis. This announcement is submitted for information purposes only.
