Maintenance and Repair Services for Concession Equipment

Texas A&M University Athletics is soliciting bids under solicitation number TAMU-ITB-27-5125 to establish a five-year Master Order for materials and labor to maintain concession equipment at the College Station, Texas campus. This as-needed contract requires the vendor to provide service technicians onsite within two hours of a request, with all repairs completed within three days. The principal service window is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. All parts used must be new or refurbished and carry a minimum one-year warranty, while all work must adhere to federal and State of Texas safety, health, lighting, and noise standards. Award decisions will be based on best value criteria, including purchase price, vendor reputation, quality, and the ability to meet minimum specifications. Preference is given to vendors with a repair facility located within two hours of the university. The successful vendor must comply with campus policies regarding drug, tobacco, and alcohol use, ensure at least one English-speaking employee is present on-site, and handle all packaging removal without using university dumpsters. Payment terms are 100 percent Net 30 upon acceptance of goods and services. Comprehensive insurance coverage, including workers compensation and at least 1 million dollars in automobile liability, is required prior to commencing work.
