Maintenance and Service

The National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIH/NIAID) in support of Vaccine Research Center (VRC) intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competition with PerkinElmer for a Maintenance and Service Agreement. PerkinElmer is the only known vendor with service technicians certified to service PerkinElmer manufactured luminometer. The Contractor shall provide Basic Coverage for the Victor Injector (serial number 299811531) and Comprehensive Coverage for the Victor Light (serial number 4206264) which includes; 1) 1 Preventative Maintenance Visit; 2) Parts, travel, labor, phone support & 5% training discount. Also provide Comprehensive Coverage for the Victor Light (serial number 4206264) which includes; 1) 2 Preventative Maintenance Visits; 2) Parts, travel, labor, phone support & 15% training discount. This contract includes a base year and two (2) option years. The Contractor shall provide all necessary parts and equipment necessary to perform remedial repair and planned maintenance of the above equipment This will be a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with the statutory authority for this sole source requirement 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 only one source available, no substitutions possible, and replacement parts must be compatible with existing equipment. The incorporated provision sand clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-73, dated April 29, 2014. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 811219, which has a size standard of 19.0 in millions of dollars. This is not a request for proposal. All responsible sources who can show capability to supply certified maintenance support may submit a proposal with a statement of capabilities to indicate product specifications and past performance. All responses will be considered. The Government reserves the right to make a decision whether to this requirement is available for competition.
