Maintenance and Support for M3 O&M

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) on behalf of the Department of Treasury, intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price, sole source contract to The Boeing Company, located at 131 National Business Parkway, Annapolis Junction, MD 20701, on or about July 24, 2020. This will be under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304 as implemented by FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B) - Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811219. The corresponding SIC Code is 7010. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This is a Notice of Intent to Award using other than full and open competition and should not be considered a request for information on whether additional vendor have the capability to perform this service. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT IS AVAILABLE. A request for more information or a copy of the solicitation will not be considered for a response. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Responses to this notice must be emailed to K. Lynne Winemiller at Kathy.L.Winemiller@irs.gov. All responses must be received no later than noon Eastern Standard Time on July 22, 2020 and will be considered by the Government. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the services required and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror's bona fide capability to provide these services. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Any responses received as a result of this notice, shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a future competitive requirement. Responses will NOT be considered as either proposals or bids. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition, based upon any written responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of your capability statements or proposals.
