DESCRIPTION:
The National Capital Region provides cyclists with one of the largest cycling networks in North America. The National Capital Commission’s (NCC) recreational pathways system is a network of nearly 250 km of pathways for cycling and a multitude of other activities, such as walking, running, and in-line skating. The NCC intends to retain the services of a Contractor to supply maintenance, inspection and repair services for the recreational pathway signage panels located along this network.
TERM:
The term of the resulting Contract will be for a period of five (5) years commencing on the date of award and ending on March 31st, 2028.
The Contractor grants to the NCC the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to two (2) additional one (1) year periods under the same terms and conditions.
BID DEADLINE:
No later than 3 p.m. DST on April 6, 2023 by email at Bids-soumissions@ncc-ccn.ca with a reference to tender file #NR213.
INQUIRIES:
To ensure the integrity of this Contract process, all enquiries and other communications must be directed only to Nathalie Rheault, Senior Contract Officer by email at nathalie.rheault@ncc-ccn.ca no later than March 31st, 2023 in order to be considered by the NCC.
Throughout the Invitation to tender/Contract process bidding process, the NCC shall endeavour to provide responses to inquiries (by the issuance of addenda) deemed relevant by the NCC and received in writing by the Contracting Authority. Only information provided in addenda shall be an integral part of the Contract.
All addenda will be posted on canadabuys.canada.ca.
Interested proponents must not contact any other employee of the NCC, or other persons involved in this solicitation to discuss questions regarding the Contract process. Non-compliance with this requirement during the solicitation period may, for that reason alone, result in disqualification of a proponent.
Note: The bid email has a maximum capacity of 30 megabytes.
Faxed and hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) bids will not be accepted for the subject bid solicitation.
There is no public opening scheduled.
BASIS OF SELECTION:
An offer must comply with all the requirements of the Contract and must meet the Mandatory Requirements as per Appendix B to be declared responsive.
The Responsive offer with the lowest total evaluated price will be recommended for issuance of a contract.
