Maintenance, repair & rebuilding of equipment

This is a combined/synopsis/solicitation Notice of Intent for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this acquisition is NIAID-NOI13-D1619344 and the solicitation is being issued as a Notice of Intent on a sole source basis. This solicitation document and its incorporated provisions are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC 2005-62) dated December 20, 2012. This acquisition will be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is not a Small Business Set-Aside. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 811219, which has a business size standard of $7.0. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID) intend to procure Maintenance services contract from Becton, Dickinson, 2350 Qume Drive, San Jose, CA, 95131-1807. This is a one year maintenance service contract agreement. Repair personnel must be certified by the manufacturer to perform maintenance on the equipment or risk loss of warranty. The government will award a fixed price purchase order to the responsible contractor.
