Full Description

The U.S. Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG), International Broadcasting Bureau (BBG/IBB), has a requirement for a Contractor to perform a "major" overhaul and radiator replacement for a 1.25 mega-watt Caterpillar Model 3516 Diesel Gen-set. The gen-set is located on the IBB transmitting site on the Island of Tinian, Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands, in the Pacific Ocean. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing all materials and performing all necessary work. The contract term will be 275 days after date of award. The Solicitation is expected to be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website on or about on June 8, 2010. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notification or otherwise pay for information or inquiry. All requests and any questions regarding this Notice shall be submitted via email or facsimile to Ms. Karen S.
