The Broward County Aviation Department is soliciting qualified firms for the management, operation, and maintenance of the Rental Car Center Fueling Facility at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Vendors responding to this solicitation must submit all relevant documentation through the BPRO system by the specified deadline, including both required and optional items to ensure a thorough evaluation. The solicitation highlights key requirements such as adherence to living wage laws, bonding, and Title VI compliance, although certain local employment-related ordinances will not apply after September 30, 2026, due to Florida House Bill 433. Pricing submissions for evaluation must thus exclude living wage considerations, anticipating contract award dates after October 1, 2026. The procurement also emphasizes economic and small business development goals by giving preference to Small Business Enterprises (SBE) and County Business Enterprises (CBE). Vendors must follow specified procedures for submitting questions during the designated Q&A period, with all clarifications managed via the BPRO system. Electronic submission is mandatory, and timely receipt confirmation is the sole responsibility of the vendor. Technical support is available for submission issues. The contract is intended to enhance the operational efficiency of the airport’s car fueling services while adhering to applicable federal, state, and county guidelines, under the oversight of contacts Michael Mullen and Latoya Clark-Forbes.
