AI Contract Overview
This contract is for the procurement of a trauma and resuscitation training manikin designed for medical training purposes. The manikin is a full-size adult model featuring two heads: a rigid rescue head for emergency training and a second head equipped for CPR with interchangeable face pieces and airways for sanitary use. It includes lifelike anatomical landmarks such as the sternum, rib cage, sternal notch, and simulated wounds. The kit is comprehensive, comprising 12 moulage pump assemblies, simulated blood and coagulant makeup, multiple face pieces and airways with non-rebreathing valves, lungs with airway ball valves, chest and skin overlays, airway plugs, and appropriate clothing. The manikin is foam-filled and weighs 35 pounds per unit. Packaging and delivery requirements specify that each unit must be commercially packaged and sealed to protect against damage during shipment, adhering to Medical Marking Standard No. 1 instead of the previous MIL-STD-129. Shipments must be packed in suitable exterior containers to ensure safe, cost-effective delivery to the designated location. The contract mandates removal of government identification from non-accepted supplies and compliance with all relevant DLA technical, quality, and packaging standards. The item is identified by NSN 6910-01-445-5140 with a quantity of one unit, and delivery is expected within 20 days of award. The performance location is Quantico, and the contracting agency is the Department of Defense Medical Supply Chain FSH, with a designated point of contact for further information.
