This contract specifies the procurement of eight U-tube manometers with the NSN 6685-00-526-9192 and part number WK-840041-000 from KIDDE-FENWAL, LLC under solicitation SPE4A5-26-T-289P. The item is classified as a critical application item and must be delivered FOB origin within 171 days of contract award, with no variance allowed in quantity. All items must comply with MIL-STD-2073-1E for preservation and packaging, and MIL-STD-129 for marking, including a special labeling code indicating the device is a delicate instrument. Packaging must adhere to DLA’s procurement requirements and prohibits any use of mercury or mercury compounds in preservation, packaging, or labeling. The manometers may not contain intentional mercury additions unless part of an exempted functional component such as sensors or instruments, and any portable devices containing mercury must have shock-proof construction and a secondary containment system per NAVSEA 5100-003D.
