Manufacture of Multiplex Electrochemiluminescence (ECL) Immunoassay and Performance Qualification Kit

The U.S. Army, through the Edgewood Contracting Division at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, has awarded a sole-source, firm-fixed-price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract to Meso Scale Diagnostics, LLC for the continued supply of Electrochemiluminescence (ECL) analyzers and associated consumables to support biological reconnaissance and surveillance missions. The contract centers on the MSD SQ120 BT analyzer, designated as the sole viable replacement for the obsolescing MSD PR2 1800 system, with a critical requirement that the platform be safely operable outside of primary engineering controls such as biological safety cabinets—using only Level D personal protective equipment—due to space constraints in mobile laboratories.
